Aleta Lipe Engelhart

Aleta Lipe Engelhart, 92, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on September 19, 2024 in Nashville, TN. 

Aleta was born in Witt, IL to Cecil and Ada Jane Lipe on August 25, 1932. She went to school at Nokomis High School, Nokomis, IL. She married Kenneth Webster Engelhart Sr. on June 30, 1951 in Witt, IL. She worked as a Professional Seamstress for Neil Smith for over twenty years. She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church for over sixty years. 

Aleta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; siblings, Wreatha, Ralph, and Dale; and son-in-law, David Agee. 

Aleta is survived by her children, Rhonda Agee, Laura (Les) Turnage, and K. W. (Lori Medley) Engelhart Jr.; special daughter-in-law, Dawn Engelhart; grandchildren, Joshua, Dawn, Dana, Tori, Brittney, Amanda, Wyatt, Daniel, Bernadette, Mary, Michael, Luke, John, Dakota, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Carson, Jaxton, Finley, Charlie, and Emma. 

Visitation will be held at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 309 Franklin Rd., Brentwood, TN on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 am with service to immediately follow. Inurnment to follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN at 1:00 pm. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert I. Moore Sunday School Class. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice or Brentwood United Methodist Church.
