Alethea Diane Eisner, age 65, went to her heavenly home on the morning of Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
Born on March 27, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, Alethea was the youngest daughter of Barbara Adams and her late father, Floyd Adams. Her life there was filled with memories, relationships, and moments that helped shape the foundation of who Alethea would become.
Alethea is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Adams; her sisters, Karen Javo and Mary Ellen Mills; and her former husband, David Eisner. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Erica Smith, Christina Eisner, and Audrey Pendley, who will always remember her love, sacrifices, kindness, and all the ways she was there for them as they grew up. She was also a proud grandmother, affectionately known as “NiNi,” to Reagan Smith and Elliette Smith, who were the light of her life. Her beloved dog, Tyler, was also a cherished member of the family.
Alethea had a passion for helping others and dedicated the last 40 years of her life to a career in nursing. Nursing was more than a career; it was a calling that brought joy and purpose to her life. In her spare time, Alethea loved spending time with her grandchildren, creating memories with family and friends, and lending a helping hand to all those around her.
In Alethea’s honor, write a thank-you note, bring a gift basket to a friend, and make dinner for someone in need. These simple acts of kindness are reminders that love is more than words; it is shown through the things we do for others. They reflect the kind of love and thoughtfulness that made Alethea special.
As she enters her heavenly home, may those who love her find comfort and peace in their memories, knowing that her life and the love she shared will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
