LANGLEY, Mr. Alvin E. "Pete", age 75, of Panama City Beach, FL, formerly of Hendersonville, TN passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, May 26, 2010, Born in Spring Hill, TN to the late Albert Eugene & Lela Evelyn Gardner Langley. Retired warehouse supervisor in the tire industry. Avid UT Fan who attended games and supported the Vols for 46 years. Survived by: wife of 55 years, Barbara Logue Langley; daughter, Kathleene Langley; son, James "Tim" (Ronda) Langley; grandchildren, Christina (Jonathan) Burke, Matthew Langley, Jaime (Grayson) Pare, Sayer & Lela Catherine Nixon; brother, Thomas M. "Buck" (Dean) Langley; sisters, Thelma Jean Byrd, Mary Wallick, Nellie (Clyde) Stephens & Wanda (Jimmy) Watts; sisters in law: Louise Langley & Joyce (Jimmy) Lovell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor & Sayer Nixon officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or UT Football Tennessee Fund, Box 15016, Knoxville, TN 37901-5016.
