April Renee Anderson

April Renee Anderson, age 42, of Columbia, Tennessee, went to her Heavenly home on August 19, 2026, following a brief battle with melanoma.

April was a devoted mother to her two children, Alexis and Levi, whom she dearly loved. Her life was filled with many chapters, but through them all, her children remained her greatest source of pride. Those who knew April will remember her strong personality, her resilience, and the unmistakable presence she carried with her. Her life touched many people along the way, and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Anderson and her nephew, Chandler Gillespie.

April is survived by the love of her life of 24 years, Aaron Silverthorn of Columbia, Tennessee; daughter, Alexis Silverthorn (20) of Thompsons Station, Tennessee; son, Levi Silverthorn (10) of Thompsons Station, Tennessee; mother, Shirley Anderson-Jones of Franklin, Tennessee; sister, Dana (Scott) Gillespie of Spring Hill, Tennessee; nieces, Kayla (Justin) Maxwell of the Bethesda Community and Delanie (Trevor) Walker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; great-nieces and nephews, Jace, Aiden, Kinsley, Atlas, Bowen, and Arlie; and many other loving family members.

In keeping with April’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Her greatest concern was making sure her family was taken care of. In lieu of flowers or a service, memorial contributions may be made to a fund established at FirstBank Berry Farms, 40 Moss Lane, Suite 100, Franklin, Tennessee 37064 by her mother, Shirley Jones, for the care and future of her young son, Levi Silverthorn.
