Bettina Still

Bettina (Tina) Moria Still, age 77, of Brentwood, TN passed away February 10, 2022.  She was born in Sewanee, TN to the late Dora Frances Hawkins Boyd and Joseph Anthony Boyd Sr.

She is preceded in death by, Joseph “Jody” Boyd Jr. (brother), Anthony Boyd (nephew), Elsie Hawkins Henson (aunt), and Boyd Hawkins Still (infant son).

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Still (Stephanie); brother, Michael Boyd; sister, Lisa Averett; nephew, Stephen Averett; great nephew, Ethan Holliday; niece, Allison Boyd; and her companion of 25 years Peter Kambitsis.

Tina was a devout Catholic.  She proudly worked at the Legislature for the State of Tennessee for 36 years, first in the message center then working her way up to a legislative office as Legislative Executive Secretary from which she retired. Tina often worked 2 or 3 jobs including cleaning houses to take care of her family, especially her son Jonathan who was her whole world.

A funeral service will be held March 5, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Cathedral of Incarnation, Father Joe McMahon will officiate.
