Betty Ann Roberts, age 78, of Franklin, TN, passed away on September 21, 2026. A lifelong resident of Franklin, Betty was born to the late John Edward Roberts, Sr. and Beatrice Parham Roberts.

Betty had a creative spirit and enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and crafting. She was known for her independent nature and took great pride in doing things for herself, including caring for her yard and keeping busy around her home. She especially enjoyed driving around Franklin and going out to eat with her sisters, making memories and enjoying the town she had called home her entire life.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Roberta Poteete and Nancy Ross; niece, Jane (Doug) Sadler; nephews, Tommy (Cindy) Poteete, George (Christy) Ross, Jr., James (Emily) Ross, Ernie Daugherty, Kevin (Tina) Daugherty, Myron (Annette) Daugherty and Christopher Daugherty. She is preceded in death by her brothers, John Ed and Earl Roberts, and Junior Daugherty; nephew, Ray Daugherty; great nephew, Davey Poteete; brothers-in-law, Jack Poteete and George Ross.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00PM-8:00PM Friday, September 25, 2026 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers Betty Ann had requested donations to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choosing.

The family would like to thank the staff at NHC Cool Springs for their care and concern for Betty during her stay.
