Brenda Joyce Ragsdale

Brenda Joyce Rivers Ragsdale, age 77 of Santa Fe, TN passed away December 7, 2023.  Joyce was a native of Williamson County and graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1963.  She was a faithful member of Theta Baptist Church.  She worked at Williamson County Hospital for many years before she and her husband, Danny became owners of Hilltop Market in Theta. She loved her church family and everyone in the Theta community. Preceded in death by husband, Danny Ragsdale; parents, Dan and Barbara Chadwell Rivers; sisters, Fannie Ladd and Sylvia Tywater; brother, Dan “Sonny” Rivers.  Survived by:  son, Ty (Lynda) Ragsdale; grandchildren, Dr. Tyler (Dr. Louisa) Ragsdale, Jacob Ragsdale and Elizabeth Ragsdale; brother, Will (Marie) Rivers; sister, Mattie Evelyn Davenport and sister in law, Janie Parigin. She was devoted to her family, especially her three grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Ottavio Palombaro officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289 williamsonmemorial.com
