Brennan Alexander Salazar

Brennan Alexander Salazar, age 23 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away July 26, 2024. A graduate of Full Sail University, with a BS in Music Production, Brennan’s passion for music was evident to all who knew him. He admired the artistry of Tame Impala, Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, and Frank Ocean. His musical talents and eclectic taste in music were a testament to his creative spirit, he was a musician and loved spending his free time writing music, playing his bass and guitar. Brennan was employed with The Tootsies Group as a sound engineer. Brennan’s love for his family was unwavering. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. He was known for his kindness and loving nature, along with being a jokester, always trying to keep a smile on everyone’s face. His impact on those around him was immeasurable. His ability to connect with people, his warmth and his genuine spirit will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his brother, D’mitri Salazar. Brennan is survived by his father, Robert (Sherry) Salazar of Kansas City, MO; mother, Heather (Zachary) Hamel of College Grove, TN; paternal grandparents, Robert Henry Salazar of Kansas City, MO, Helen Marie (Jeff) Charney of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandparents, William Legrand Tapley of Bogalusa, LA and Becky Lynn (Paul) Brockway of Independence, MO; siblings, Chloe Salazar, Dominic Salazar, Hailey (Rowen) Miller, Grant Hamel, Matthew Hamel and Charlotte Hamel; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, August 5, 2024 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Mark Lohman will officiate. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
