Cameron Scott

CAMERON JAMES SCOTT, age 9, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

Cameron was born at home on October 29, 2012, in Hermitage, TN, to Kert and Leslie (Kelly) Scott. His father had the joy of baptizing him on September 8, 2019. What a joy he was to all who knew him! Cameron was a cheerful, loving, and kind boy. He enjoyed spending time with his siblings, cousins, and friends. He loved singing, taking piano lessons, going to church, attending Annex (Heritage Christian Academy), going outside, being creative with Legos, playing Mario games, watching the Auburn Tigers ballgames, shooting basketball, reading The Action Bible, and listening to Classic Adventures in Odyssey episodes. Green was his favorite color. Cameron was deeply loved by his family, extended family, and friends. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.

He is survived by his four older siblings Olivia (Praisim) Peter, Preston Scott, Dalton Scott, and Jordan Scott; niece, Sunrise Peter; nephew, Arnion Peter. He is preceded in death by his cherished grandfather, Ed Scott. He is survived by his grandmother, Ann Scott; grandparents, Doyle and Gloria Kelly; and a large family of cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064.

A Private Family and Extended Family Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064 with Garrett Gregory officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 735 North Mt. Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 with Sam Parnell officiating.
