GOWER, Mrs. Candy Boswell, age 62 of Franklin, TN. September 30, 2013. She was a member of West Franklin Baptist Church and a believer and follower of Christ. She was a good and faithful servant who was very active in her church. Raised in Amory, MS where she attended Amory High School. She later received a B.S. of Chemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. She then went on to earn a Masters degree in education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was a dedicated teacher at Franklin High School from 1992-2009. More than anything she was a beloved wife and mother of four. Preceded by her mother, Madlyn King Boswell and sister, Sue Boswell Witcher. Survived by her husband of 42 years, Don Gower; sons, Aaron (Allison) Gower and Evan (Jessie) Gower; daughters, Meg (Craig) Luttrell and Memry (Greg) Smith; 10 Grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, October 3, 2013 at West Franklin Baptist Church, Dr. Jim Harvey officiating. Burial Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at Williamson Memorial and one hour prior to service at the church.
