SMITH, Mr. Carl M., age 82 of Franklin, TN, January 16, 2010. Member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Cutting horse enthusiast and was a modern day cowboy. Preceded in death by wife, Goldie Smith. Survived by: sons, Carl M. (Pam) Smith, Jr. & Dean (Tammy) Smith; daughters, Lori Lynn Smith & Carlene Carter (Joe) Breen; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Eddie Stubbs & friends officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Little Jimmy Dickens, Bobby Bare, Keith Bilbrey & Charlie Dick. Visitation will be 5-8PM Monday and one hour prior to service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
