Dan Witt, age 71 of Eight Mile, AL passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Dan was a native of Franklin, TN and graduated from Franklin High School in 1964. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Survived by: wife, Linda Witt; parents, Arthur & Elizabeth Witt; son, Cooper Witt; daughter, Kacy (Kirk) Thomas; grandson, Wyatt Thomas; brother, Randall (Renee) Witt and uncle, Gil Witt. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
