David Scott Wilkins, affectionately known as Scott, age 47, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Born to the late Anita Faye Adcock and David Gene Wilkins, Scott was a native of Fairview, Tennessee, and a 1996 graduate of Fairview High School.

Scott dedicated 22 years to HCA-Parallon, working in Information Technology. He enjoyed football, the Nashville Predators, and fishing. He also had a heart for causes meaningful to him, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and cancer organizations.

Above all, Scott loved his family, especially his daughters, Grace and Courtney, who held a special place in his heart.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; Ray Adcock, Clarence Junior Wilkins, and Clara Mae Wilkins; his aunt, Barbra Wilkins Wolf; and his beloved fiancée, Angela Lynn Polston, who passed away in 2021. Angela’s passing left a tremendous void in Scott’s life. He loved and missed her deeply and longed for the day they would be together again.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Grace (Ben) Chilton and Courtney Wilkins; bonus children whom he loved as his own; grandmother, Dorothy Nell Adcock; and lifelong best friend, Quentin Manley, whose friendship he deeply treasured. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, coworkers, and classmates.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with a graveside service following visitation at 3:00 p.m.
