Obituary

Derita Darlene Wilson, born Derita Darlene Oakley, passed away on September 30, 2026, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at the age of 65. She was born on November 15, 1960, in Franklin, Tennessee.

Derita will be remembered as a woman whose greatest pride was her family. She found joy in the people she loved most and built her life around them. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought happiness to her days. She loved to sew, and she loved playing Bunco with her Bunco buddies. She also enjoyed going to the casino with JJ, a memory that will remain dear to those who knew and loved her. She also loved riding the back roads with her aunt and cousins.

She is survived by her children, Hunter Robinson, Andrew Oakley, Resha Stables, and Angela (Bryan) Williams. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Jacob Foster, Krissiauna Shell, Cassandra Stables, Mahayla Shell, Raydale Martin, Tyson Martin, great grandchildren Kamariauna Bell, and Blakelyn Foster. May they carry forward the love, strength, and memories she shared with them, and may her memory remain a lasting blessing in their lives.

Derita was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Christene Oakley; her brother, RW Brady; and her sister, Lola Fagan.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee 37064. A funeral service will follow there at 1:00 p.m.

Derita Darlene Wilson will be remembered with love for the life she lived, the family she cherished, and the joy she brought to those around her.
