Gail Helen Sanders, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Franklin, Tennessee. Born on January 24, 1941, Gail lived a life marked by her natural inclination as a caretaker and her deep-seated love for her family and community.

Gail was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family; she dedicated her time volunteering at the local animal shelter and crisis center, helping those in need with compassion and grace.

Known for her love of dog companions and her admiration for Elvis, Gail embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth. 

Gail is survived by her cherished daughters, Kim (Rachel Downey) and Teresa (Brian) McCombs. She found great joy in her role as grandmother to Steven (Rachel) McCombs and Brianna McCombs, and she adored her great-grandchildren, Logan, Ava, and Jonah McCombs. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and her legacy will surely live on through the loving bonds she created with her family.
