Gary Edward Clark, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on November 9, 2025 at the Center for Living and Learning. 

Gary was born in Biloxi, Mississippi to Charles Edward Clark and Bilie Ruth Davis Clark. Growing up, he attended several different schools, as his dad was in the United States Air Force. After his dad retired the family moved back to his dad’s and mom’s hometown, Lumberton, Mississippi. Gary attended Lumberton high school and received a football scholarship to a local junior college. About two months from graduation in 1974 Gary enlisted in the army. He served in Germany during the Vietnam war. Gary was honorably discharged in 1975. He is survived by his brother Billy Charles Clark, and two sisters, Tiny Diane Allen, and husband, Narvell Allen, Melissa Ann Phillips, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 o’clock on November 20, 2025 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be given to The Center For Living And Learning in Franklin, Tennessee. The family of Gary wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Scooter and Fran Clippard and the residents of The Center For Living And Learning. Also Reverend Mark Price and the congregation at Christ United Methodist Church.
