Gary Lee Holt

Gary Lee Holt, age 70 of Franklin, TN passed away April 5, 2024. He was born in Franklin, TN to the late Gilford & Mary Holt. Gary owned and operated G.L. Landscaping for over 53 years. He loved to fish, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Murray Wayne Holt; grandson, Rufus B. Jones, Jr. Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shelia Polk Holt of Franklin, TN; daughters, Frances Ann Holt of Spring Hill, TN, Mary (Scott) Gray of Lewisburg, TN and Brandy Holt (Harvey, Sr.) Wood of Franklin, TN; sisters, Linda (Dewey) Clark of Chapel Hill, TN, Reba Kay (Lew) Walser of Gallatin, TN and Tammy (Richard) Green of Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kylie) Tompkins, Joey Jones, Jessica Gillespie, Michael (Brittany) Jervis, Harvey, Jr. (Shelby) Wood, Amanda (Jason) Mullins and Tyler (Sabrina) Wood; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and many other loving family members. Visitation will be 5-8PM Tuesday, April 9^th and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Brian Adkisson and Ronnie Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Johnson Hollow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Tompkins, Joey Jones, Michael Jervis, R.J. Lynch, Danny Scruggs and Harvey Wood, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Gary Lee Holt Memorial Fund.
