Mrs. Glenda Lewis LeRoy age 81, beloved wife of over 64 years to Mr Bobby Eugene (Gene) LeRoy, entered into rest on Friday, February 16 surrounded by loved ones. She was a wonderful mother and friend to many who was always there when any needed her. She was a well-loved member of the community and to her beloved church family in Summerville, South Carolina and Macon, Georgia.

In addition to her husband she is survived by daughter, Donna Shaw, son, Michael (Karen) LeRoy and daughter, Cindy (Steve) Poe, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Luther and Ellen Elizabeth Toole Lewis; brother, H.D. Lewis; and sisters, Helen Huff, Reba Davis, Betty Joyce Barfield, Earlene Britt, and Janis Collum.

To honor Glenda’s memory, family gathered for a memorial to celebrate her wonderful life on Sunday, February 18th. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in her honor to the American Kidney Fund at https://secure.kidneyfund.org.
