Gregory James Meisch, lovingly known as Greg, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Franklin, Tennessee. Born on March 17, 1949, in Winona, Minnesota, Greg’s life was one of deep-rooted devotion—to his family, his friends, and every community blessed by his presence.

Through his 77 years, Greg’s kindness, warmth, and steadfastness touched everyone he met. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Meisch, whose companionship and partnership marked the foundation of his life. Greg was a proud and devoted father to Christian Meisch and Benjamin Meisch, and he welcomed his daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Karen Meisch, into his heart and home as cherished members of the family.

Greg’s siblings Zinda Bartz, Zandra Kessler, and Darcy Lee—will always remember him as a loving brother whose strength and guidance shaped their lives. His legacy is further carried forward by his grandchildren: Abigail, Cody Gentry, Gretchen, Elias Velazquez, Logan Meisch, Isabella Meisch, Chloe Meisch, Kinley Meisch, and Teagan Meisch. Each of them will hold close the lessons, laughter, and love shared with their grandfather. Greg’s gentle nature also extended to his beloved companion, Buddy the Cat, who will miss him dearly.

Family was at the center of Greg’s world, and he took immense pride in the successes, joys, and milestones of those closest to him. His warmth radiated at family gatherings, where his stories, wisdom, and quiet humor brought people together in love and harmony. He was steadfast in his support, generous with his time, and gracious with his affection.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where friends and loved ones will gather to honor and remember Greg’s remarkable life. Burial will be August 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN. A reception will follow the burial.

Gregory James Meisch’s legacy is one with compassion, dignity, and devotion. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege to know him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ALS Foundation in Greg's honor.
