Obituary

With profound sadness, yet with the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Hanna M. Koltutska, who peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on June 24, 2026, at 5:09 p.m., at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family.

Hanna was born on March 13 (March 1, Old Style), 1939, in Ukraine to Moses and Katerina Yatsuk. She was raised in a large, loving Christian family of nine children, where she was the sixth child. From an early age, she was taught to love God and to live a life rooted in faith.

In 1976, Hanna was baptized in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, publicly dedicating her life to Christ. She faithfully served as a member of the church in Vinnytsia until 2016. Her faith was evident in the way she lived each day. She joyfully sang in the church choir, loved visiting other churches to worship and fellowship with fellow believers, and faithfully served in the church kitchen during gatherings and special occasions. She found great joy in serving the Lord and caring for others with humility and love.

Hanna shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Vasyl Koltutskyy. Together they built a home centered on faith, love, and family and were blessed with two daughters, Ludmila and Anna.

In 2007, Hanna and Vasyl moved to the United States to be closer to the family they loved so dearly. Being near their daughters and granddaughters brought them immense happiness, and they treasured every moment they spent together.

In 2016, Hanna's beloved husband, Vasyl, passed away. Though she deeply mourned his loss, she remained steadfast in her faith and devoted herself to her family. She cherished every moment with her daughters, her granddaughters, and especially her three precious great-grandsons. Matthew, Henry, and James were truly the light of her life. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with them, watching them grow, and surrounding them with her unconditional love. Her face would light up whenever they came to visit, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.

Hanna will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and selfless love. She lived a life of quiet service, always putting God and her family before herself. Her kindness, wisdom, and steadfast devotion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion that will continue through the generations of her family.

Although our hearts are deeply saddened by her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she has been welcomed into her eternal home, reunited with her beloved husband, and is now forever in the presence of her Savior. While she will be greatly missed, we find comfort in God's promise that we will one day be together again.

Hanna is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ludmila; her daughter, Anna, and her husband, Nikolay; her granddaughters, Katerina and her husband, Alex, Julia, and Yana and her husband, Lathrop; her beloved great-grandsons, Matthew, Henry, and James; her siblings; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."— 2 Timothy 4:7

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Until we meet again.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Monday, June 29, 2026 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
