James "Jim" Robert Holder, age 79 of Franklin, TN passed away November 25, 2017. Born in Nashville, TN to the late James Herman & Rebecca Noland Holder. He was a 1957 graduate of College Grove High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1961. Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Murna Holder; daughter, Mary Beth Holder (Roland) Smith; sisters, Peggy Holder (Dan) Kavanaugh and Carolyn Holder (Tom) Miller; granddaughter, Hayley Elizabeth Fleming. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 2101 Old Hickory Blvd. Nashville, TN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Dr. Sam Boyd will officiate. Memorials may be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church, 2101 Old Hickory Blvd. Nashville, TN .
