James Kenneth Walker, Jr.

James Kenneth “Kenny” Walker, Jr., age 49, a resident of Columbia, Tn., passed away suddenly on Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital. A native of Williamson County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Kenneth Walker, Sr., and the late Brenda Katherine Harris Cook. He was a long-time employee of Mapco and enjoyed working very much. He loved Alabama Football, listening to music; especially Aerosmith, and loved spending time with his brothers. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his children. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: James Robert and Mary Nell Harris; aunt: Sandy Chapman; cousins: Tina Coleman and Roscoe Jaco. He is survived by his children: James Robert and Breanna Kristine Walker; brothers: Robert Allen (Melissa) and Stephen Lawrence Walker; sister: Diamond Walker; special friend: Tammy Anette Bryant; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with J.J. King officiating. Burial will follow at Pond Cemetery. Visitation with the family on Wednesday evening from 4-8 PM, and after 12 Noon on Thursday, all at the funeral home. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.
