Jeffrey Caleb Lillard, age 40, of Franklin, TN lost his courageous fight against cancer and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 22, 2026.
A native of Williamson County, Caleb was a proud Rebel graduate of Franklin High School and earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee. He began his career as a landscape architect before joining Lillard, Inc., the family business, where he worked as an inspector in residential construction progress.
Caleb loved grilling, spending time with his family, collecting sports cards, and playing intramural sports including volleyball, flag football, and disc golf. He was an avid Tennessee Vol fan and rarely missed an opportunity to watch college sports.
A member of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Caleb was the strength of his family and a loving, devoted, and present husband, father, son and brother. His absence will be deeply and forever felt by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Faith and Grace Lillard, and his grandparents, Walter and Eunice Bennett Lillard and Blythe and Betty Reed Gillespie.
Caleb is survived by his wife, Katherine “Katie” Lillard; daughter, Penelope “Penny” Lillard; his parents, Jerry and Karen Gillespie Lillard; his sister, Ashley (Brian) Snyder; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Michele Lutz; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Mike) Gardner and Rob (Melissa) Lutz; and his nieces and nephews, Maclaine and Reagan Snyder and Ella and Jack Gardner.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with Rev. Anne Keener and Brian Snyder officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 and again one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
