Johnnie Felix Bennett, age 91 of Antioch, TN passed away August 19, 2026. He was born in Williamson County, TN in the Little Texas Community. He worked as salesman and supervisor for many years in the tree industry. Johnnie enjoyed golf and volunteering for the Boys and Girls Club where he was honored to receive the “Golden Boy Award”. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Milton “Mitch” and Susie Lee Garner Bennett; great grandchild, Ruby Belle Mallory and son in law, Billy Joe Emberton. Survived by: wife, Faye Mealer Bennett; children, Kathy Emberton, Lesa (Brad) Craine, Darrell Bennett, Kristy (Larry “Judge”) Mallory and Traci (Sammy) Pope; brothers, Terry “Dugan” (Linda) Reed, Ira (Betty Jane) Reed, Jimmy (Malia) Reed and Kenneth “Honeyman” (Novella) Reed; sisters, Janice Reed and Darlene (Jim) Spears; grandchildren, Cody Emberton, Shelby Emberton, Mandy (Chad) Gainey, Cale (Stephanie) Ferrell, Hana Craine, Wesley (Kelly) Bennett, Jessica (Ryan) Kepley, Johnna Mallory, Ricky (Shelby) Mallory, Angel Mallory, Hank Mallory, Samuel Pope and Nathan Pope; twelve great grandchildren and other loving family members. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2026 with Pat Whitaker officiating and other family members participating in the service at Bennett Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Darrell Bennett, Cale Ferrell, Samuel Pope, Wesley Bennett, Ricky Mallory, Larry “Judge” Mallory, Sammy Pope and Chad Gainey. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Ferrell, Tanner Gainey, Hank Mallory, Jordan Stewart, Johnny Mallory and Ryan Kepley. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice. Visitation will be 6:00PM – 8:00PM Friday and 12:30PM until 1:30PM Saturday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289 williamsonmemorial.com
