Kathleen Marie Hebert, affectionately known as Katie, was born on September 7, 1976, and passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2025, in Franklin, Tennessee. A pharmacist by profession, Katie dedicated her life to caring for others.
Katie was born in Worcester, MA and graduated from St. Peter-Marian in 1994 where she was a friend to all and class president. She went on to attend and earn her Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, which laid the foundation for her successful career in pharmacy.
Throughout her life, she cherished her family, finding her greatest joy in raising her children Thomas and Mae to be kind and empathetic individuals. Her love for them was evident in every aspect of her life.
In addition to her devotion to her family, Katie had a profound passion for travel and found tranquility near the ocean, particularly enjoying time at (and even moving to) the beach. In her lifetime she was also fortunate enough to visit dozens of tropical islands from the South Pacific to the Caribbean. These experiences enriched her life and created lasting memories for those around her.
Katie is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Mike Hebert, and her cherished children, Thomas and Mae Hebert, all of Franklin, TN. She also leaves behind her mother, Mary (Gordon) Beane of Worcester, MA, and her step-sister, Sarah (Beane) Faneuf, also of Massachusetts. Within her extended family, she is remembered fondly by dozens of Brazile-family aunts, uncles, and cousins, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dwight and Cathy Hebert of Spring Hill, TN, and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law and her nephews.
Katie was preceded in death by her father, Gary P. Chosta and step-brother Jason M. Beane.
A private funeral mass will take place at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, TN. The family will host a Celebration of Life for Katie this summer in her hometown of Worcester, MA.
Katie's spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, as her legacy of love, kindness, and commitment to family carries on. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
Memorials may be made to Gigi’s Playhouse is a Down Syndrome organization (founded by a mom) providing free therapeutic, educational, and career training programs for all ages. Donations can be made in Katie’s memory using the following link.
