Leigh Ann McCoy Moss, age 63 of Spring Hill, TN passed away September 21, 2026. Leigh Ann was a graduate of Page High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University and University of Texas El Paso. After a career in sales and marketing, she embarked on her most important and beloved role raising three wonderful daughters. Leigh Ann also had an affinity for caregiving, a gift she discovered while helping her mother care for her great uncle. She was passionate about being a helping hand and friend to others in need and developed a strong bond with the people for whom she cared.

In 2009, she became grandmother, her most cherished role until her passing. She was able to welcome her fourth granddaughter and namesake, Juniper Leigh Merrit, into this world in July and was overjoyed by her arrival. She showed her love by gifting and crocheting, even making gift baskets for her nurses and neighbors. Having been a caregiver, she had the utmost respect and love for the nurses who cared for her throughout her journey. Leigh Ann brought love and brightness into everyone’s lives and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Preceded in death by mother, Nancy Lee Cowell McCoy; grandparents, Baxter & Izora McCoy and George R. & Alma Cowell; father-in-law, Garner Moss and mother-in-law, Brenda Sue Hood.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael G. Moss; daughters, Morgan (Nick Merritt) Moss, Emily (Neil Manderson) Moss and Rachel Moss; father, James R. McCoy; brother, Christopher (Leigh Ann) McCoy; grandchildren, McKinley Sullivan, Madison Sullivan, Monroe Sullivan and Juniper Leigh Merritt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Leigh Ann’s favorite little neighbor who was such an inspiration and shining light to Leigh Ann during her own battle with childhood cancer, Madelyn Rea Doucey, who is one of St. Jude’s Little Warriors.
