Leslie Suzanne Rodgers Eastwood of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 83.
Leslie was born on July 15, 1940, in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from East High School in Memphis in 1958 and from Memphis State University in 1961, and she worked at Delta Air Lines for over 25 years.
Leslie married Lawrence Slade Eastwood, Sr. in 1967, and they were married for 52 years until he passed away in 2019. He was her loving and devoted caretaker as she battled multiple sclerosis for two decades. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Stevens Rodgers and Ursula Christine Wigal Rodgers, and her sister, Norma Rodgers McHugh.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence Slade Eastwood, Jr., her daughter-in-law Patricia, and her grandchildren Suzanne and Dottie Eastwood.
The family will gather privately to celebrate Leslie’s life and legacy. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin. Memorials may take the form of donations to Trinity United Methodist Church in Franklin, Tennessee, or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
