Lois H. Becker, age 97, lovingly known to her grandchildren as “Grammy”, of Franklin, TN, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 3, 2025 with family by her side. She also formerly resided in Dorseyville, PA and Port St. Lucie, FL.
Lois was born on April 30, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harry and Hilda Kleinfelder. In addition to her beloved husband of 45 years, William (Bill), she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald and Earl Kleinfelder, and her beloved granddaughter, Sarah.
She is survived by son, Bill (Deborah) Becker of Harwick, PA, daughters Sandy (Dan) Cole of Franklin, TN, Dawna (Charles) Debter of Dallas, TX, and Hilary (Greg) Boucher of Franklin, TN; 7 grandchildren Ashley Thorne, Spencer Boucher, Andrew Debter, Addison Debter, Garrett Boucher, Grace Phelps, and Grant Becker; and 5 great grandchildren, John and David Thorne, Charlotte and Madeleine Debter, and Preston Boucher.
Lois was uniquely talented in a variety of arts and crafts, including painting, stained glass, card making, and sewing. She designed and made most of her birthday and greeting cards. Her specialty was creating custom painted Easter eggs for each grandchild every year. She was involved in the Red Hat Society and loved playing dominoes. Her career as an Executive Assistant spanned various organizations in Pittsburgh and South Florida, retiring from Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council. She also served in various functions over the years at Franklin Christian Church (now SE Christian Church) where she was a member for 30 years. She was active in various activities at J.L. Clay Senior Center and Maristone Assisted Living where she made many friends of both staff and residents. Boating and camping were other great loves of her but most of all, her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brian Meyers of SE Christian Church, Annie Miller of Maristone Assisted Living, and Phyliss Barker, her most beloved and faithful friend.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm August 23, 2025 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN with visitation one hour prior to service. A private family graveside service will follow.
