Marlaine Lucchesi age77 of Franklin, Tennessee formerly of Westchester, New York passed away Monday July 6, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth Miller Lucchesi. Marlaine loved her life, family and friends. She blessed us with her smile and generous heart. These attributes made everyone feel comfortable in her presence. Friends would tell her, “you taught me so much about joy and love of life”. She truly enjoyed the company of her friends.

Marlaine is survived by with her loving husband, Stephen J. Hoek and her sister, Nancy Britton.

Marlaine loved to travel. She had a way of touching your mind, easing your pain and softening your heart. She always made an effort to accept people for who they are and could find good in all those around her.

Her education in early childhood development would pave the way for a lifelong devotion to nurturing and mentoring of friends and family.

Marlaine was a beautiful, loving lady who always pulled her family together. She fought hard for her independence and her life she so loved. We will all miss her dearly. Marlaine is OK now.

Celebration of Marlaine life will be 2:00PM Saturday August 1, 2026, at Brentwood Baptist Church, with Bob Cornell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
