Mary Charles Stone Bramblett, age 93 of Franklin, TN passed away November 15, 2025. She was born in Richmond, VA to the late Charles & Gladys Stone.
Mary was a devoted wife to the love of her life. They met while he was in the military, he came home and married her on Christmas Day. After she finished college she moved with him to Germany where he was stationed and she worked for the Stars and Stripes. They had the kind of love that stood out to everyone around them. Their unfailing love carried them through the next 71 years together.
Mary lived a life filled with kindness and joy, and she had a heart that made everyone around her feel truly loved. She taught school for 30 years and retried from Brookmead Elementary, where she cherished every child who walked through her door. Even years later, she would still run into former students who remembered the impact she had on them.
After retirement, Mary poured her passion into traveling across the United States and the Caribbean with her husband, as well as on many memorable trips with her family. She was always happiest with her toes in the sand and the sunshine on her face.
At home, Mary loved to entertain and play cards. She was a fantastic cook who found joy in bringing everyone together around a table. Her family brought her the greatest happiness of all, she loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, play, and fill her home with laughter.
Mary’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be carried forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John Ronald Bramblett; daughter, Vicki Lynn Gorin; sister, Nancy Stone Palmer. Mary is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Steve) Victory; grandchildren, Scott (Kim) Victory, Holly (Justin) Davis, John (Lindsey) Gorin and Susan (Chris) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Dayson & Carter Victory, Huck, Hadley & Huntington Davis, Sadie, Micha & Lily Gorin and David, Oran & Brigid Johnson. Funeral service will be held 3:00PM Friday, November 21, 2025 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Tony Day will officiate. Entombment will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens in the Remembrance Mausoleum. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
