Mary Alice Giles Dickson

Ms. Mary Alice Giles Dickson of Nolensville, TN went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2024. She was 92 years old.

Mary was a retired accountant for the state of Tennessee. She was born in Williamson County to the late Roy Giles and Mary Neal Giles on April 14, 1932.

Mary was a member of the Free Will Baptist faith and served as “mother” to many of the church congregation. She enjoyed church, gardening, cooking, and camping. Mary loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years Robert Dickson Jr., daughter Gena “Jade” Dickson, daughter in-law Beth Dickson, sisters Mattie Marlin and Betty Odom.

Survived by sister Anneal (David) Summar, sons Tony (Debby) Dickson and Bobby (Teresa) Dickson, grandchildren Alicia (David) King, Scott (Brittany) Dickson, Erica Dickson, William Dickson and Lily Dickson; great-grandchildren, Casey & Hunter King and Logan & Ensley Dickson and two great-great grandchildren on the way; nephews Daryl (Keri) Stevens, Steve Marlin, Mark (Debbie) Marlin, niece Diann Pewit, and many other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, June 10, 2024 with visitation two hours prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Ronnie Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Scott Dickson, Logan Dickson, Mark Marlin, David King, Casey King & Hunter King.
