Michael H Byrd

Michael H. Byrd, aged 73 of Springfield TN, passed away December 11, 2023. He was born in Franklin, TN to his parents, Shannon Howard Byrd and Earline Byrd. He proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee and retired as an SWC.  He spent over 25 years in the Life Insurance industry, serving the Franklin and Williamson County communities. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Allen Byrd and dog, Maddie. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Byrd; children Scott (April) Byrd, Jennifer (Jim) Gatham Byrd, Dave (Deb) Sisk and Dan Sisk; grandchildren Andrew, Tyler, Kyle, Wyatt, Nash, Raegan, Danny, Jr., Stephen, Heather and Taylor; brother Gary Byrd; sister Sheila (Hans) Haskins. A funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Brother David Royalty officiating. Visitation will be 4:00PM-8:00PM Monday, December 18 and one hour prior to the service.
