Michael Conrath

Michael D. Conrath, 61, Franklin, TN, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Artist, Mountain Climber and World Traveler. Mike was a man of great character and integrity. Mike passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on June 17th, at 61 years old. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Finch Conrath, son, Michael (Michele) Conrath of Milton, GA and daughter Amy (Joe) Stevens of Spring Hill, TN, his brother Steve (Sue) Conrath, sisters, Karen (Matt) Hollebrands & Kathy St. John, as well as four grandchildren. Mike was born in Des Moines, IA to parents George and Patricia. He was preceded in death by his father, George Conrath. Mike's first love was his family. He loved spending time with his four grandchildren. Mike was a true adventurer, traveling internationally to scale some of the highest and most challenging mountains in the world, including Aconcagua in the Andes Mountain range. He graduated from Drake University and received his Master's in Business Administration from University of SW Florida. Although a very gifted artist, Mike spent his professional career in the fields of natural gas and medical administration, most recently serving as the Executive Director of the Frist Clinic in Nashville. Prior to that, Mike served as the CEO of Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers and Naples Radiology in Naples, FL. He and wife Linda recently moved to Franklin TN to be near family and because Mike loved the Tennessee countryside. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, A memorial service will be held immediately after the visitation, at 5:00 PM, Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN 37064 615-794-2289, www.williamsonmemorial.com, Interment will also be at Williamson Memorial at a date to be determined.
