Michael Richard Madzo

Michael Richard Madzo, age 72, born in St. Paul, MN, passed away March 2, 2023. He was born to the late Richard and Lorraine Madzo.

Michael devoted a lifetime to sharing his unique vision of the world through his art. His fierce admiration for the human experience ensured an earthly lifetime full of creativity, relationships, travel, and love. Michael found unconditional love, laughter and peace with his wife Wendy. He found joy on the golf course, cherished time with family and sought solace at the Madzo ranch in North Dakota. He loved the art community and his many lifelong friends throughout the country. Always humble, always kind, unequivocally Michael.  

He is survived by his wife, Wendy McLaughlin Madzo; brother, David Madzo; niece, Caitlin Madzo; nephew, Colin (Laura) Madzo; great niece and nephew, Cooper and Britta;  brother, Steven (Jill) Madzo; nephew, Heth Madzo.
