Michael Stephen Mulick, age 75 of Lynn Haven, FL passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family September 19, 2023. He was born in Omaha, NE to the late George “Pa” & Elizabeth Mulick.
Mike found his first love at age 14, the Chicago Board of Trade, where he was a member for over 30 years. Mike was a successful commodities broker, and served on the Audit committee, the first endeavor to bring the CBOT into the digital age.
The definition of a family man, Mike’s biggest pride and joy was just that, his family. Thanks to Mike, and his capacity to love, the members of his family extend far and wide. Mike was always there to have a talk, listen, provide sage advice, be the devil’s advocate or lend a helping hand. Unless, of course, he was mowing the grass on the John Deere, that was his time. Mike lived a full and amazing life, and as such held many titles. Of his titles, his most cherished was Papa. Being a Papa to three bright beautiful humans brought him so much pride and joy.
The Mulick family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff in the Nashville TN area. The care you provided Michael, and his caregivers, over the last 5 years will never be forgotten.
Michael was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Margaret Mary (Peggy) Mulick, Brother in Law Patrick Farrell, and three infant grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife of 48 years, Stephan Farrell Mulick of Lynn Haven, FL; son, Tom (Danielle) Mulick of Lynn Haven, FL; daughters, Teri (Mike) Carlson of Franklin, TN and Tracy (Damian) DeJesus of Douglasville, GA; brother, Joe (Cindy) Mulick of Branson, MO; sister, Patti Steele of Plantation, FL; grandchildren, Connor, Allison & Lucy Mulick; Sisters in Law Micky (Kirk) Lacewell of Whidbey Island WA; Dawn Farrell of Gretna LA; Brothers in Law Steve (Georgette) Farrell, Sean (Debbie) Farrell, Tim (Karen) Farrell of Lynn Haven FL, along with his many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Southerland Funeral home in Panama City Florida on November, 2 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
