Mr. James Oakes

OAKES, Mr. James Scott "Scotty", age 41 of Arrington, TN. October 19, 2012. He was a member of Miracle Baptist Church, owner & operator of Oakes Lawncare, and a former Metro Nashville Police Officer. Preceded in death by his father, James L. "Tony" Oakes, Jr. Survived by wife, Grace Lowery Oakes; daughter, Riley Elizabeth Oakes; mother, Margaret Reed Oakes; brother, Jeffrey Todd Oakes. Services will be held 3:00PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Brother Todd Kirkland & Jerry Ladd officiating. Interment in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Chip Peebles, Charles Vance, Eddie Mayes, Barry Marlin, Jeff Craft, Mark McCaghren. Honorary Pallbearers: Donnie Carter & Larry Maxwell.
