WALKER, Joseph Clyde, Jr. age 59 of Franklin, TN, September 23, 2013. Former Director of Student Financial Aid at Samford University and Belmont University. Currently serving as Associate Director at Vanderbilt University. Loving husband and father. Member & Treasurer of Gateway Community Church where he was loved and respected by his church family. An avid Alabama fan and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Survived by wife, Joanie Walker of Franklin, TN; sons, Dow (Bethany) Walker of Birmingham, AL & Garrett (Amber) Walker of Franklin, TN; stepchildren, Christy (Cary) Graham, Jennifer (Matt) Gingerich & Matthew Maynard all of Nashville, TN; brother, Robert (Patty) Currey of Selma, AL; grandchildren, Jakob & Scout Gingerich. Memorial services will be conducted 5:00PM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Gateway Community Church, 584 Franklin Rd. Franklin, TN 37069, Alan Clark officiating.
