Mrs. Barbara Ward

WARD, Barbara Fruh, age 79 passed away November 30, 2009 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, from Alzheimer's. Born in Roslindale, Massachusetts to Edward and Mabel Fruh, she graduated from Roslindale High School and the Catherine Gibbs School for Women. She served in the International Order of Rainbow #16 as the Grand State Soloist in Massachusetts. On June 9, 1951 she married Kenneth Robertson Ward, son of John and Martha Ward. They made their home with their four daughters in Roslindale and Onset, Massachusetts. They retired to Sarasota Florida. She is survived by her husband, their four girls, Ruth Ann Cosgrove, Marie Penix of Indiana, Rosemary Walker of Tennessee and Nancy (Donald) Vick North Carolina; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and the many friends she loved so dearly. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
