Patricia Bluemle

Patricia L. Bluemle, age 85 passed away on October 29, 2018. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Leo Commiskey, born in Indianapolis, IN. She attended Indiana University, where she met her future husband. Pat married Thomas Bluemle in 1953 and celebrated 59 years of marriage before his death.
Two daughters, Laura and Kathleen, were born in Anderson, IN. Pat continued her education, earning a BS, MS, and Ed.S in Education from Ball State University. She taught Elementary grades, Special Education and was a certified School Psychologist in Anderson, Indiana and Port Huron, Michigan. She was an advocate for special needs children and retired from the Port Huron Area School District in 1997.
Pat and Tom moved to Tennessee to be closer to their family and enjoyed their retirement in the golfing community of Fairfield Glade. Together, they made several trips abroad. Following the death of her husband, she moved near family, to her Franklin home. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, Williamson County Newcomers, and Clay Senior Center.
Survived by daughters Laura Butts (husband, Bob Butts) and Kathy London both of Franklin, TN. Brother, Vince Commiskey of Grapevine, TX. Also beloved grandchildren, Josh London (wife, Leslie) of Franklin, TN, Sarah Almuhairi of Washington, D.C. and Shamsah Kronk (Joel) of Nashville, TN.
A private family Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Catholic Charities. Arrangements in care of Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 615-794-2289 www.williamsonmemorial.com
