Ralph Edward Vennum, Jr

Ralph Edward Vennum, Jr., age 88, of Franklin, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. 

Born on March 12, 1935, in Paducah, he was the son of Ralph, Sr., and Anne Belle (King) Vennum. Ralph attended Tillman High School, the University of Kentucky, and Florida State University. He served in the Army and Army Reserve for 38 years, attaining the rank of LTC. Ralph dedicated 37 years as the Director of Administrative Services with the Florida Department of Labor. Beyond his professional life, he cherished playing golf and spending quality time with his family. 

Surviving him are his wife of 70 years, Emma (Kay) Vennum; son, Ralph E. Vennum III; and grandchildren Richard, Robert, and John. 

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of Ralph's life will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Jim Taylor.
