Richard Fontaine

Mr. Richard G. Fontaine, age 75 of Franklin, TN passed away August 30, 2015. He was a family man who was particularly devoted to his loving grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Louise Fontaine; siblings, Claire Gagnon, Paul and Ray Fontaine; son by marriage, Walter G. "Chip" Trapnell IV and wife Sheila; sister in law, Patty Fontaine. Survived by his loving wife, Gail Trapnell Fontaine; Children, Michael Fontaine and Lisa Fontaine Smith; son by marriage, Todd F. (Kim) Trapnell; brother, Bernie Fontaine, Don Fontaine and Norm (Loradel) Fontaine; grandchildren, Katy and Brittany Smith, Walter G. Trapnell V, Mary Caitlin (John) Button, Hannah, Brady and Ryan Trapnell; great grandchildren, John Button V and Lylah Button; sister in law, Ann Fontaine; special niece and nephew, Melissa and Steve Capitani and their children Sophia and Maximillian Capitani. Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service. Entombment in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers: members and friends of the VFW Post 4893, Beagle Club and the Elks Lodge #72.
