Robert Wayne Bryant, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 82 in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on December 16, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, Robert dedicated his life to his career as an industrial machinist and proudly served in the Army, embodying the values of dedication and service.

A passionate traveler, Robert spent many joyful years exploring the beauty of the United States and Canada alongside his beloved wife, Lynette Hickox Bryant, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Their adventures in their RV created lasting memories, solidifying their bond while experiencing the wonders of the open road together.

Robert was not only a devoted family man but also embraced life with enthusiasm. He had a great love for food, always thinking ahead to his next meal, and found immense joy in golfing and fishing. Evenings were often spent enjoying his favorite westerns, a testament to his simple yet fulfilling pleasures in life.

He is survived by his wife, Lynette; daughter Dana Bryant (Danny) Nelms; his son Kevin (Wendy) Bryant; grandson Bryant Nelms; and granddaughter Sydney Bryant. Robert's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will forever resonate in the hearts of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Irma Bryant Sr., and his brother, Henry "Buddy" Bryant Jr. Robert's memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, as he leaves behind a life well-lived and a family forever grateful for the time they shared with him. Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, Robert Wayne Bryant will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for all he brought into the lives of those around him.
