Roy Thompson

Mr. Roy C. "R.C." Thompson, age 88 of Franklin, TN passed away March 11, 2015. He was a dairy farmer for many years in Williamson County and lifetime member of Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by wife, Mildred Taylor Thompson. Survived by: daughters, Cornelia (Lincoln) Benefield & Gayle (Mark) Cothran; brother, Bill Thompson; grandchildren, Marty (Tammy) Benefield, Dawn Garren, Shane (Krystal) Cothran & Chelsey (Dean) Richards; great grandchildren, Luci Lee & Millie Jo Benefield, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Kirsten & Lillian Garren & Alauna Myers. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Buddy Pope & John Eatherly officiating. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Marty Benefield, Shane Cothran, Dean Richards, Michael Hamm, Richard King & J.W. "Bubba" Ham. Honorary pallbearers, Pete & Bubba Crutcher & members of Mt. Carmel CP Church.
