Scott Horton

HORTON (BENGE), Scott Everett, age 32. Scott was born on Nov. 15, 1976 at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV to Linda and Gary Horton (deceased). Scott passed from life on Sat., Oct. 24 at 7PM in Nashville, TN. He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Benge of Sallisaw, OK; one brother and his wife, SSgt. Patrick J. Horton USMC and Crystal Horton and their son, Spencer. Also two sisters, Tonda Benge of London, England and Michelle Benge Jones and her seven sons, Robert, Joshua, Brandon and Braydon, Sean, DJ and Austin of Stockton, CA. His brother, Jay Benge, preceded him in death. He has one living grandparent, Betty Jean Benge of Sallisaw, OK; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Max Muterspaugh, Indianapolis, IN, Emily and Charles Barrientos, Midway, GA, Carol Miller, Sparks, NV, Ernest Benge, Oroville, CA, and Michael Benge, Sallisaw, OK; and many cousins. Scott was truly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Scott was a 1995 graduate of Sallisaw High School, a member of the United States Marine Corps, and graduated from University of Tennessee in 2004. He was an accomplished musician, mastering seven instruments, and a top salesman for the Nissan Corporation. Memorial services will be conducted 2PM Friday, October 30, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Horton, Mark DuBusk, Joe Walthall, Juan Huff and Spencer Horton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Local Hospice or charity of your choice. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064. 615 794-2289.
