Obituary

Shawn Anton Huber, age 54, passed away on September 6, 2026, in Franklin, Tennessee.

Shawn was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Gary and Roberta Huber. He was a caring husband, a loving father, a loyal brother and son, and a cherished friend to so many. His loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.

Shawn deeply loved people. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone he encountered feel seen, valued, and genuinely known. Whether through his warmth, his humor, or simply knowing exactly what to say, Shawn had a way of putting people at ease, lifting their spirits, and making them feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves. His genuine care for others was unmistakable, and people were better for having known him.

Shawn had a genuine love for life and embraced it fully. He had a lifelong passion for cars, especially exotic and fast cars, and loved being outdoors, going for walks, working out at the gym, and staying active. He was an incredible cook who loved preparing meals for the people he cared about, and he had a special place in his heart for animals. Throughout his life, there was rarely a time when he wasn’t surrounded by a collection of beloved pets who were very much part of the family.

For more than 25 years, Shawn dedicated his professional life to helping others become stronger in body, mind, and life. He began his career in health and fitness as a personal trainer and went on to become a Certified High Performance Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist. Throughout his career, he worked with business owners, athletes, leaders, and other high achievers.

Shawn’s approach to his life and work reflected his deep curiosity about people and his belief in what they were capable of becoming. He had an extraordinary ability to see the potential in people.

More than anything, Shawn loved people and connection. He was happiest surrounded by those he loved, making people laugh, sharing a great meal, having a meaningful conversation, or finding a way to make someone’s day a little better. He brought an unmistakable energy and warmth wherever he went, and he will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the way he made people feel while he was here.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Megan Huber; his 16 year old daughter, Brighton Huber; his parents, Gary and Roberta Huber; and his brother, Jason Huber.

A celebration of life will be held in October in Nashville, Tennessee. Specific details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Shawn’s memory may contribute to the GoFundMe established by family and friends to support Megan and Brighton during this time.

Donations may be made through the family’s GoFundMe
