Teresa Wheeley Locke, age 70 of Franklin, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 15, 2026. Teresa was a native of Williamson County, TN. She loved her family dearly. She was an earth mother to several people, TeTe to those closest to her, and an amazing caretaker to all. Teresa was a talented singer; she also enjoyed writing poetry and songs. Her talent of singing in the choir included trips to Austria, Germany, and various places around the world as well as several concerts at Epworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and ensuring everyone was full. She loved the beach and making memories with sister trips and friends, especially “We’re Gurla’s” hanging out together. Teresa was a source of advice, offered words of encouragement, and was always a trustworthy friend. Her faith remained powerful, steadfast, and strong. “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”

Preceded in death by husband, Thomas E. Locke, Jr.; stepdaughter, Sharon D. “Sherry” Hutchinson; parents, Harold C. and Mary Ann Tomlin Wheeley; brother, William H. “Billy” Wheeley; sister, Pam Cloyd; nephew, T.J. Isenhour and stepmother, Christine Tomlin Wheeley.

Survived by: granddaughters, Cassie (Joe) Goodwin, Chrissie (Mike) Smith and Chase Grover; great grandchildren, Austin Clark, Lexi McCord, AJ Goodwin, Addalynn Goodwin, Riley Smith and Burgess Grover; great great grandchild, Brooks Reuter; sisters, Anita Isenhour and Janet (Ricky) Watkins; stepsister, Rhonda Kay (Glenn) Gatlin; stepbrother, Ron (Joan) Tomlin; sister in law, Sarah Wheeley Hartley; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Brian) Clark, Brandon Wheeley, Christopher (Kristina) Isenhour, Lori Townsend, Kim (Kevin) Sparkman, Tim (Jackie) Labonte, Jon (Emily) Labonte, Angela (Cory) Clifton, Kayla (Adam) Piatt, Matthew (Amanda) Donoho, Austin (Marlee) Donoho and Kayla Gatlin and fifteen great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2026 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Sharlet Panhalkar officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Austin Clark, AJ Goodwin, Joe Goodwin, Mike Smith, Brandon Wheeley, Philip Sparkman and Kevin Sparkman. Honorary pallbearers will be 1974 Classmates of Bethesda High School. Memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
