Terry Lee Frisby, 75, of Franklin, TN, passed away on March 31, 2026, at home surrounded by family. Born in 1950 in Columbus, OH, to Richard and Eileen Frisby.

Terry lived a life shaped by faith, learning, and love. As a boy he played baseball, delivered papers, and worked with his father. As an adult he earned advanced degrees from Ohio State and Vanderbilt, and spent his life teaching, leading, and encouraging others. He worked at both American Retirement Corporation and Sava Health Services as Executive Vice President, working most of his career in the retirement service industry. He served at Otter Creek as an elder and Bible teacher. Above all, he loved his family—devoted to his wife of 54 years, caring deeply for his children, and treasuring his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Paula Hembree Frisby; daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Frisby Webb (Whit) and Erin Eileen Frisby Baker (Daniel); son, Paul Matthew Frisby (Katherine); nine grandchildren; siblings, Craig Frisby (Karen), Dale Frisby (Diane), Dennis Frisby, and Rebecca Frisby; and his dog, Emmie Frisby. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog, Little Bit Frisby.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Otter Creek Church, 409 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM to 11:00AM before the service. A private burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
