Wanda Jean Veirs, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Spring Hill, Tennessee, just weeks before her 88th birthday. Born on July 18, 1938, in Fleming County, Kentucky, Wanda’s life was a testament to enduring love, devotion to family, and quiet strength.
Wanda was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Veirs, whose memory she carried with her until her final days. Together, they built a legacy that lives on through their grandchildren and great grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in Wanda’s heart. She is survived by her loving son Ron (Tammy) Veirs; cherished grandchildren: Matthew (Amanda) Fisher, Courtney Veirs (Ernie Banales), Paige (Drew) Parrish, and 8 great grandsons Peyton, Junior, Landon, Beau, Luke, Garrett, Hudson, and Parker. Their lives have been lovingly shaped by Wanda’s steady guidance and warm affection.
The family will receive friends during a visitation to be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee, on July 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. This gathering will offer a time for all who loved and respected Wanda to remember her life and the legacy of kindness and perseverance she leaves behind.
