William Freeman

Mr. William David Freeman, age 75 of Franklin, TN passed away September 11, 2014. Born and raised in Williamson County, TN. He was a loving father and friend to many. A member of New Life Community Church. A dedicated bus driver for Williamson County Schools for 17 years. He dedicated his life to his family, being a foster parent and running a daycare. Preceded in death by his wife, Violet Ruth Freeman and parents, Chester and Jessie Watkins Freeman. Survived by sons, Jeff Freeman, Lucien (Maggie Laratta) Freeman and William "D.J." Freeman; daughters, Kathy (William) Witt, Genny Freeman Spann, Annette (Danny) Reed, Dawn (Dean) Ramey, Pam (Don) Zelaya, Christina and Candy Freeman; sisters, Judy (Jim) McElhiney, Alice (Tommy) King and Joy (Castle) Chan; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Gerald Prior officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday and one hour prior to service Sunday. Inurnment will be held in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
