William Earl Pollard, III

November 28, 1976 — May 28, 2024

William Earl Pollard III, known affectionately to his friends and family as Bill, passed away on May 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and cherished memories. Born to Pat and Bill Pollard, he was a beacon of joy in the lives of those who knew him. Bill's sister, Jenny Carlton, her husband Kyle, and their children Kristin, Blakelyn, and Liam, along with his Aunt Sharon, cousin Brian, Angie, and Angie's husband Bryan, will forever hold dear the times they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Richard, whose memory remained close to his heart.

Bill's life was a testament to the power of humor and kindness. His ability to make anyone laugh was unmatched, and his warm, calm presence brought comfort to many. He completed his Bachelor's degree with the same dedication and spirit he applied to all aspects of his life. Bill's love for his family was evident in every action, especially in the joy he found in spending time with his nieces and nephew, whom he adored and they adored him.

The lake house was a special place for Bill, a sanctuary where he created countless memories with his loved ones. It was here that he could truly relax, surrounded by nature and the people he cherished most. His girlfriend, Michelle Lavin, and her two sons, Luke and Kyle, were also a significant part of his life. He loved attending Luke and Kyle’s sporting events and cheering them on.

In the words of the great William Shakespeare, "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away." Bill lived by this philosophy, sharing his gifts of laughter and compassion with everyone he met. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to have been touched by his generosity and warmth.

Bill's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of joy, kindness, and genuine connection. Those who knew him will remember his infectious laughter, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He was, in every sense of the words, funny, loving, and friendly.

As we say goodbye to Bill, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will be treasured forever. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who loved him. William "Bill" Pollard III's legacy will live on in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love he left behind in the hearts of all who knew him.
